Terms of Service

By accessing or using the useMavo platform, registering an account, downloading our mobile applications, or executing digital contracts through our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal corporate authority to register an account on useMavo.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including passwords and two-factor authentication OTPs. You must immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.

useMavo provides software tools to facilitate real estate portfolio management, lease agreement drafting, rent ledger tracking, and maintenance communication.

While useMavo provides contract template creation tools, landlords and property managers remain solely responsible for ensuring that their lease agreements and rental operations comply with applicable local housing laws, tenancy regulations, and tax mandates in their jurisdictions.

Certain features of useMavo require paid subscription plans (such as property portfolio tier quotas, advanced analytics, and custom role permissions). All applicable fees, billing cycles, and renewal terms are clearly displayed on our subscription management pages.

Third-party payment fees (including Mobile Money or banking transaction charges) may apply depending on the selected payment provider.

You agree not to misuse the platform, including but not limited to:

• Uploading malicious code, spam, or unlawful material.

• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or breach the security of our APIs or infrastructure.

• Using false identity credentials or impersonating another property owner, manager, or tenant.

• Engaging in fraudulent rental listings or fraudulent payment transactions.

The useMavo platform, logos, trademarks, software code, UI designs, and documentation are the exclusive property of Mavo Services Ltd. You retain all ownership rights to the property images, documents, and data you upload into your workspace.

You may terminate your account at any time from your profile settings or by contacting our support team.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in unlawful activities, or create security risks for other platform users.

useMavo is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mavo Services Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from property disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, or third-party telecom network outages.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
